capecodarts.org is a valuable listing of individual artists and artisans; art and cultural organizations, groups and programs; and historical societies and sites and museums. All together, these encompass the rich and varied artscape of Cape Cod.

Each participant has a Profile Page, setting forth detailed information about who they are, what they do, and how to get in touch with them. Profile Pages are accessed by using the site's search functions. If you're looking for an individual, search the Artist Directory. If you're looking for an organizations (such as a theater, museum, or musical group), search the Art, Culture and Heritage Directory.

Your search can be as broad or as narrow as you like. Among other things, you can search by name, town, medium, style or specific object. (Examples: "pottery teapots in Brewster," or "marine oil paintings anywhere on the Cape.") Also, you can search for specialized services, such as classes or restoration.

You can search by name, town, category (such as literary arts, music, dance, theater or history) or specific program or service (such as performance, instruction or exhibition). Thus, you could use this database to get a list of all the theater companies on the Cape, find the hours that a particular museum will be open, or locate nearby dance lessons.

If you are interested specific events, our Calendar of Events will provide you with a listing of art and cultural events offered throughout Cape Cod all year long. You can also search this database to find details on a particular event, or to get listings by type of event or sponsoring organization.

All Cape-based organizations or on-going programs offering teaching, exhibitions or performances in the visual, literary, or performing arts are invited to participate in this site. Also, Cape-based individual artists are welcome to participate as well. The process is easy, just follow the step-by-step instructions.

Keep your Profile up-to-date, and enter events in the calendar on an on-going basis. It's easy to do and will enhance communication to your audience/buyers.
